SafetyConnect, a construction risk engineering platform built specifically for the construction industry, officially launches with a mission to help jobsites operate more proactively through increased visibility, accountability, and embedded operational controls. The platform is designed to help reduce conditions and behaviors that may lead to hazards while supporting production continuity and workforce coordination.

SafetyConnect combines Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) guidance, integrated training access, workforce coordination tools, access control capabilities, project management integrations, and additional functionality into a unified operating system for construction jobsites.

The company was launched in 2025 out of Best of Safety Services Inc. (BOSS), a third-party safety services firm that has supported New York City construction operators for several years. Construction remains one of the most hazardous industries in the United States, and SafetyConnect was developed to address the need for a more connected, real-time operational safety framework. The platform translates field-tested experience into digital infrastructure built in New York City —one of the nation’s most demanding construction safety jurisdictions — with a framework designed to scale across multiple municipalities and markets.

The platform provides construction jobsites with a continuous, verifiable safety signal by tracking credentials, training currency, gate access, near misses, audits, and workforce activity in real time rather than relying solely on periodic reporting.

Every stakeholder — from workers and supervisors to general contractors and owners — is connected to a verifiable record of action and responsibility, helping reinforce positive behaviors while enabling issues to be addressed before they become incidents.

The same operational record that helps run the jobsite can also serve as evidence of continuous, verifiable safety activity increasingly sought by insurers and risk stakeholders. SafetyConnect embeds NYC DOB and FDNY operational requirements directly in today-to-day workflows through pre-task planning, gate enforcement, training verification, and hazard escalation protocols, making safety an active operational function rather than a retrospective monthly report.

Traditional construction safety software often functions primarily as a system of record — documenting what happened after the fact so reports can be generated later. SafetyConnect is designed as a system of action focused on identifying and mitigating risks before incidents occur.
